As has been made public by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Magrama), the estimation of wine production for the 2014/15 campaign stands at 39.44 million hectoliters (-26.3%).
Although this is a preliminary forecast based on data from 30th June (will be updated as soon as the different regions provide the requested information), does serve as a reference for what the current vintage will bring: fewer quantity, but higher quality. Something that logically will have influence in market trends, both for bottled wine and bulk wine.
