BULK SHERRY - JEREZ

Internationally recognized personality and quality

The Consejo Regulador de la D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry is the body that oversees the aging and commercialization of these wines since 1933, being the oldest in Spain.

Sherry / Jerez is produced in the cities of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and other nearby municipalities.

These wines are made mainly from three grape varieties: Palomino (for dry wines), Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel (for sweet wines). The warm climate, the albariza soils (a white soil very favorable for vines) and the influence of the Atlantic Ocean contribute to the singular personality of these wines.

They are aged through the traditional system of criaderas and soleras, a unique method that blends wines from different vintages to maintain a constant and characteristic flavor.

Styles of Sherry / Jerez:

From dry and light, to the most intensely sweet.

Other traditional styles include Amontillado, Palo Cortado, Oloroso, and fortified liqueur wines.

Available ages: from 6 months to 20 YO. Consult for other ages.
